SURROUNDED By Flowers And Tour Buses With Paleface Swiss
Have you ever heard of PALEFACE SWISS? If you are heavy in the deathcore/metalcore scene, I am going to assume you have If not, here is a rundown of who PALEFACE SWISS is! The band includes vocalist, Marc "Zelli" Zellweger, Yannick Lehmann on the guitar, Tommy-Lee Abt on bass, and last but not least the drummer, Cassiano "Cassi" Toma. The boys came together in 2017, in Zürick, Switzerland. They were inspired to create "PALEFACE SWISS" the band from seeing a Slipknot show. It made them want to pursue music together.
In 2020, they released their debut studio album, "Chapter 3: The Last Selection." Later on in early 2022, they released the album, "Fear & Dagger," their most-known album with 47.1K page views. It was not until then that they became well-known.
Onto the great news- PALEFACE SWISS announced earlier in September that they are releasing their third full-length album called "Cursed." This album is set for release on January 3rd, 2025. Just a short 3-month wait! After fans heard this news, they were ecstatic. Along with that news, they released a single called "Hatred" from the "Cursed" album. The album features the track list of the songs:
Un Pobre Niño Murió
Hatred
...and with the hope you'll be dammed
Don't You Ever Stop
Enough
Youth Decay
My Blood On Your Hands
Love Burns
River Sorrows
PALEFACE SWISS decided how they wanted to celebrate the album, so they decided to take death-core all around North America by releasing a tour set for next year. During this lengthy tour, they will hit 30 cities across the US, including New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, and many more. For this tour, they invited some supporting acts, "Stick To Your Guns" and "Nasty Band." The Cursed Tour sets to kick off on March 20th, 2025 in MI, and end on April 26th, 2025 in IL.
The band is also playing a European tour early this year, a few weeks after "Cursed" drops. It is a 28-leg tour starting on January 30th, 2025 in Zurich, Switzerland, and ending on March 2nd, 2025 in London, United Kingdom, right before The Cursed Tour starts. The boys are going to be extremely busy in 2025, and I could not be more proud of their success!
During an interview with PALEFACE SWISS, the vocalist, Marc explains how the media is damaged with negativity. He says exactly, "When you’re a kid growing up, you’re happy and you think everything is cool, but nowadays, every time you open your phone, it’s just a flood of negativity. We’re bombarded with so much bad news every day that finding anything positive feels nearly impossible. ‘Hatred’ is us venting our frustration about the things we can’t change. It may not be as deep as the other tracks on the album, but it’s for everyone who’s fed up with the constant negativity in the world." Marc has a very valid point in this, no matter where you look on social media, or what genre of music you are into, whatever is displayed on the internet has more negative than positive the majority of the time and it is very hard to find positivity around. Zelli continues by saying, "This record is for sure our most personal one so far. We've always written about topics like mental health, but we've usually written about people who are really close to us." PALEFACE SWISS has always been a huge advocate for mental health awareness.
