🌼 To pre-save "Keep Planting Flowers":
Stick To Your Guns formed as a small band in 2003, based in Orange County, California. They were heavily influenced by their local scene. The band itself is most known for its hit albums which include, "The Hope Division" 2010, "Diamond" 2012, that debuted #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart, and "True View" 2017. This band has toured with Knocked Loose on their "Different Shade Of Blue" tour in 2019, along with Amity Affliction, and Wage War, also has been on a handful of stints on the Vans Warped Tour throughout the years.
The "Keep Planting Flowers" tracklist includes songs such as; "We All Die Anyway", "Spineless", "Permanent Dark", "Invisible Rain", "Severed Forever", "More Than A Witness", "Keep Planting Flowers", "Eats Me Up", "Who Needs Who" (feat. Scott Vogel of Terror), "H84U" (feat. Connie Sgarbossa of Seeyouspacecowboy).
In an interview with Atom Splitter, Jesse Bernett explains, "Keep Planting Flowers is a collection of songs that exist to spite the nihilistic narrative that plagues our minds and societies". , Bernett continues with, "One that says things are just the way that they are and that regardless of the burning rage or depthless depression that this fills us with, there is simply nothing we can do about it. I militantly reject such a joyless outlook on the one life that I get the honor of living. A new world needs a new you, so no matter how bad things get, keep planting flowers."
There is a deeper meaning behind this album, along with the title. Regardless of what is happening throughout your one life, keep spreading joy, and happiness, "Keep planting flowers."
When Jesse was asked upon the release of the song and music video, "Severed Forever", he exclaimed, "In an industry where there is only one true artist for every 250 entrepreneurs, this song is a dedication to the 'artists and musicians' who are nothing more than lackeys or the errand boys of their keepers. I have severed myself completely from the superficial competitive market mentality of 'fuck thy neighbor' to one that aligns more with the yearning of my spirit. I'm not going to pretend lines haven't been drawn. I chose my side and I have found purpose in who and what I fight for."
Along with this album release, the boys are going to be extremely busy in the following months on tour, absolutely killing the stage beneath them. Make sure you catch a date on the tour.
