Want To Get Dirty? Then “You Gotta Get A Little Mud On Ya”…

See what I did there?

The absolute badass Dorothy has just released a live performance video of her single “Mud” from her upcoming fourth studio album. Filmed during two shows where she opened for Godsmack, fans are treated to an explosive experience with this one! Want blues? Rocking riffs? Maybe a little country? Some face-melting screams?! Dorothy isn’t shy about bending genres, and she delivers the goods here. This performance is sure to satisfy the diehard  Black Sheep Gang and newcomers alike!

"The 'MUD' live performance video was shot at two shows we played opening for Godsmack, I want to thank them for having us and I hope the fans enjoy the footage!" - Dorothy

Want more Dorothy? You’re in luck—sort of! You could have caught Dorothy performing alongside Creed frontman Scott Stapp at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry on October 23, where they performed their duet “If These Walls Could Talk.” Absolutely huge for Dorothy as this was her first time performing there.

Sadly, the Black Sheep Gang will have to wait for tour dates, as nothing is scheduled for now except for Dorothy’s upcoming appearance on Creed’s Summer of ’99 and Beyond cruise, sailing from Miami to Nassau Bahamas April 9-13, 2025. Sevendust, Hinder, Lit, Hoobastank, and more are also performing! So, get those dad bods in shape for next year!

Want to dive into more Dorothy music? While details are sparse about the upcoming fourth studio album, I highly recommend checking out her full discography if you’re not familiar! In 2022, we were (bad pun alert) “gifted” with Gifts From the Holy Ghost, a 10-song banger of an album featuring strong tracks like “Rest In Peace,” “A Beautiful Life,” and “Black Sheep.” If you’re craving moody, bluesy hard rock, think a heavier Janis Joplin vibe—check out 2018’s 28 Days in the Valley with songs like “Who Do You Love” and “Ain’t Our Time To Die.” Want to go even deeper into classic rock and roll blues? Don’t miss 2016’s Rockisdead, my personal favorite, with tracks like “Whiskey Fever” and “Dark Nights.” Fun fact: watch the “Dark Nights” music video to see just how far Dorothy will go for some Nutella! Also catch some of her collabs with Alice Cooper’s Nita Strauss, Slash of Guns N Roses, Staind, and Creed.

Sound off on our social media what you think of the new video, the new single and maybe convince my boss here at Evaporated to send me on the Creed Cruise for some live coverage of Dorothy and so so so much Dad Rock!
