Pop-punk band In Her Own Words has released their newest single, I Think It’s Time, and announced the release of their upcoming EP Left In The Dark on November 15th.

A Los Angeles-based pop-punk band, In Her Own Words, is made up of vocalist Joey Fleming, and guitarist Andretti Almalel. Committed to staying true to themselves while navigating an industry that can make it challenging to maintain a sense of individuality and stick to who you truly are, In Her Own Words are filling their music with genuine self-expression. Authenticity, resilience, and expression are the three core principles driving the duo on their journey of embracing both the struggles and victories they face in the industry. “This new era of the band feels like what I’ve been trying to accomplish since I joined,” vocalist Joey Fleming reflects. “Andretti and I click on so many levels in the studio, and I feel like I’ve finally found my place as a songwriter. It’s finally translating into the music.”

I Think It’s Time is the newest single off of the soon-to-be-released Left In The Dark EP. The track boasts a catchy beat and the classic pop-punk sound we all know and love. Starting off with a quieter, stripped sound, the track continues to build in anticipation until the chorus where the track explodes with a strong, catchy melody and guitar. Exploring themes of searching for the courage to move on, while trying to simultaneously let go of the past, this track will resonate with those who are trying to find the motivation to move on. “‘I Think It’s Time’ is a song that explores the enduring presence of someone after a breakup and the journey to find the strength to move on, no matter the cost,” says In Her Own Words about the new single. Hannah Daniel

Hey, I’m Hannah! I’ve had a love for the arts/music since I was a kid, and if I’m not painting or working on an art project at home I usually can be found at a concert. I developed a passion for music photography because it was a way to combine my love for being creative with my love for live music. There are few things I enjoy more than the feeling of being in a crowd, and being able to capture that feeling through my work (other than maybe getting a coffee). I’m always discovering new artists I love, but some of my favorite include Noah Kahan, Briston Maroney, Hozier, and Caamp.
