FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY X EVAPORATED
The sun begins to set at Jannus Live in St. Pete, Florida. With it comes bands from all over the world. Judiciary, Sylosis, Distant, Body Snatcher, and the head of this night. Fit for an Autopsy. It's a heavy lineup, to say the least. This concert was the night that revealed the album “The Nothing That Is.” Fit For An Autopsy’s latest release.
From the first strike of a chord, the crowd knew that Fit For An Autopsy was ready to deliver a show of a lifetime. The set started with “Lower Purpose” a heavy song that brought the heads banging, the crowd swirling, and air bumping. This energy set the crowd for the entire rest of the night. You could feel the anticipation racing through the crowd.
A well-mixed setlist was being shown by five talented musicians. Guitarist Tim Howley showed his skill by moving up and down the fretboard of his Ibanez AZ. Patrick Sheridan laid the heavy tone that “The Nothing That Is” holds. Josean Orta struck and banged on the drums to give the fast-paced beating the crowd needed. Peter Spinazola filled the air with bass on his Ibanez SR705. Finally, Joseph Badolato led with his deep Vocals and unique growl. The band all together created a sound that Jannus Live doesn’t hear that often. The Screams of Deathcore raged through all of downtown St. Pete.
What stood out to everyone that night was how visually connected the fans were to the band. The pit was filled with fans of all ages bashing into each other while all of them at the same time screaming the lyrics. Word for word. As each word sprung out of their mouths, another connection was made between strangers. It was a bonding moment for all fans to be in a place where they feel they can go all out.
The lights raged on with flashes of red, blue, green, and purple. Smoke filled the stage. Proof of production elements crafted just for the crowd to carry on with the heavy riffs. The visuals on stage, combined with the band’s perfect performance, showed the audience the meaning of “The Nothing That Is.”

Fans in those moments knew they were where they were supposed to be. The love and appreciation stretched to the back of the venue. It was a celebration of the new album but also for the journey of a band coming together and sharing their passion for their fans.
To conclude, Fit For An Autopsy played an insane show. Something that everyone should get the opportunity to experience. Even if you aren’t into metal. Perfection can be noticed across everything.
