ICE NINE KILLS Releases Bloody Music Video Featuring Art The Clown

Ice Nine Kills shared their new song, “A Work Of Art” on Sirius XM Octane yesterday, October 10th. It was officially added to streaming services today, October 11th, just in time for the release of Terrifier 3. Fans can listen to the song here. In addition to the song’s killer release, we have a bloody music video to go with it! This video is just that, bloody and gory as hell! I would expect nothing less from frontman Spencer Charnas. Here’s  what he had to say about the terrifying collab:

“Creating a track for Terrifier 3 it’s like stepping into the ultimate horror playground. The film and our new single, “A Work Of Art”, reflect the same twisted, unrelenting energy that fans of both Ice Nine Kills and the Terrifier franchise thrive on. Having our music video play in theaters after the movie at special screenings last night was the ultimate honor in the best way to pay homage to the cinematic terror that has inspired me and this band. The extended cut of the video marks a new era of INK-related terror, but what that means shall remain in my nightmares…for now. Psychos, we present to you what may well be our most glorious and gruesome offering yet, sure to leave you both tongue-tied and terrified - “A Work Of Art”.”

Watch the bloody new addition here. Viewer discretion is heavily advised, this video is crazy! I would say it’s more graphic than the Welcome To Horrorwood music video. You can catch that here.

With the band’s latest horror-themed release, fans are speculating a third Silver Scream album. There is one scene in particular that has fans talking. As the music video starts, we see the camera pan to the marquee. It reads “Ice Nine Kills, Sold Out, 12/21, 8 pm”. This could mean nothing, or it could mean everything.

I was personally against the idea of a third Silver Scream album. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Ice Nine Kills, you can ask anyone who knows me. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want something new. I was thinking to myself, how many more movies can they write about before it gets too repetitive? I wasn’t going to stop listening to the band regardless, but this song won me over!

This song has everything! It has brutal, guttural screams, screams that take me back to the “Every Trick In The Book” era. The way Spencer whispers into the mic, straight chills down my spine. The unexpected sound of Art’s horn, followed by his bashing on the piano, works so well with the song. I also noticed some similarities between this song and “IT Is The End”.

Overall, I give “A Work Of Art” a solid 10/10. This collaboration is a big step for Ice Nine Kills. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the band!
